I ordered the 18" and my laptop is 15.6". It fits very comfortably inside with room to spare. I could have bought the 16" bag but I thought it would be better to go bigger than smaller.
It has lots of pockets and space for your papers, power supply, mouse, and other gadgets, and it's roomy enough that you could even fit a couple of books in there. I love the adjustable velcro strap that helps hold the laptop in place; you can move it to accommodate different laptop sizes.There's also an outer zippered pocket that's perfect for a cell phone and stuff. On the back of the case, there is a horizontal strap that will fit over a luggage handle -- a thoughtful touch for those who travel.The case is adequately padded - I have taken this on a trip to Asia, and it held up well.
